TSA-NYHV Speaks About TS on Z-100 Radio Show

June 2, 2013 - The NY Hudson Valley Chapter of TSA continued its recent tradition of raising awareness about Tourette Syndrome through guest appearances on local radio programs. Chapter Chairwoman Helene Walisever joined host Kevin Burke of the Z-100 weekly show, "Get Active", to discuss Tourette Syndrome, the challenges of living with it and the chapter's mission.

Julia and Wendy Gottlieb, one of the chapter's current Youth Ambassadors (YA) teams,  also took part of the discussion and described the TSA Youth Ambassador program and their role in it.  Chapter Chairwoman Helene Walisever also highlighted the chapter's other great programs supporting local families touch by Tourette Syndrome, including the in-service program for education professionals, the medical awareness program and the various local support groups.
